[[Diablo]] is finally captured by a group of [[Horadrim]] monks led by [[Jered Cain]]. The monks bury Diablo's [[Soulstone]] near the river [[[Talsande]] in [[Khanduras]], and a [[Tristram Cathedral|Horadric monastery]] with a network of catacombs is built over the burial spot.
