Christian was a well-known comic book artist for a decade before he entered the gaming industry. He is best known in the comic world as co-founder of [http://gamersdigart.wordpress.com/2008/07/30/meet-liquidology-aka-christian-lichtner/ Liquid!], a revolutionary comic book coloring/art studio. Christian moved into the gaming industry in the late 00saround 2006, working where he worked on some undisclosed projects [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darksiders:_Wrath_of_War Darksiders: Wrath of War], before joining Blizzard in early 2009after taking sometime off. He was  Christian first revealed as the new D3 Art Director at Blzzcon 2009, where he spoke on a Diablo 3 panel and participated in a number of media interviews.
