'''Rend''' debuted at [[BlizzCon 2010]] as a Tier 5 skill, but the Barbarian couldn't level up high enough to select it, so there are no gameplay reports detailing any use of this skill.
Skill tiers were removed for the [[July 2011 Press Event]], allowing the skills to unlock steadily from levels 1 to 30. Consequently, all skill levels were adjusted and Rend became a level 8 skill.
