Holy Damage

Holy is one of the types of [[elemental]] [[damage]] in Diablo III. It is white in appearanceand is found less commonly than most other damage types, occurring only on some skills and not on weapons at all.
Holy A few monsters deal holy damage is not well known, and has thus far been seen only on a few Monk skills; [[Circle of Wrath]], [[Lethal Decoy]], [[Retribution Aura]], and [[Wave of Light]]. it is mitigated by the [[RunestonesArcane]] might add it to other spells in the game, or it may be found as an item modifier, though this one seems like it might be Monk-onlyresistance.
It's not known if any monsters deal Holy damage, but it seems unlikely.

[[Critical hits]] scored with Holy damage provide an unknown bonusin Diablo 3 is simply another type of damage, dealing full damage at the time of impact and manifesting purely as another color of elemental. It's possible that This is a change from Diablo 2, where Holy damage deals extra came only from a few Paladin skills, only affected the Undead (who it dealt bonus damage to the [[Undead]]), and healed other characters and minions if it struck them.
The Reaper of Souls expansion may return some special properties to Holy Damage, especially in the form of [[Crusader]] skills.
