Thus a player could still put their first 50 points in the Core tab into the same attribute, maxing that out, but they would be Paragon 197 by the time they had earned 50 points in the Core tab.

* [[Offensive tab]]: [[Attack Speed]], [[Critical hit Chance]], [[Critical hit Damage]], [[Cooldown]] reduction.
* [[Defensive tab]]: Increase max resource, increase resource regeneration %, All Resistance, Life %, +% Armor, and Dodge chance.** (Increased blocking % was named at the Gamescom 2013 reveal but seems to have been replaced during development. * [[Adventure tab]]: +to maximum resource and increased resource regeneration, [[Movement Speed]], [[Pickup Radius]], [[Magic Find]]. (No mention of [[Gold Find]].)
** The resources are [[Fury]], [[Mana]], [[Arcane Power]], [[Spirit]], [[Faith]] (Crusader), and [[Hatred]]. [[Discipline]] is not boosted by Paragon points.)

<blue>Three out of the four categories (Offensive, Defensive, and Adventure) can be maxed out if you put a total of 200 points into each of those categories. Any excess Paragon levels earned after these categories have been maxed out will still grant a Paragon point, but you will only be able to spend these excess points in the Core Stat category. The Core Stat category will allow you to choose between added Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Vitality. </blue>
