Crushing Advance is a rune effect in [[Overpower]], a situational [[Barbarian skill]].
This rune effect reflects back 30% provides 4 seconds of incoming melee substantial damage for 4 seconds after using reduction each time Overpower. While this sounds very unassumingis cast, this is one of the most powerful which can be quite often for a Barbarian skills, since it pairs with high [[Life on Hitcritical hit chance]] bonuses to [[proc]] massive healing, who uses Overpower when numerous enemies are in range.
Every time ==Post Release Changes==[[Patch v1.0.4]] made no change to the Barbarian takes damage while this base skill is activefunction, 33% but nerf one overpowered aspect of the [[LoHCrushing Advance]] rune effect.[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/official-patch-1-0-4-notes] * Skill Rune – [[Crushing Advance]]** Can no longer trigger On Hit [[procs]].*** Amount of damage reflected increased from 30% to 35%. Prior to this change, this rune effect was hugely powerful when paired with [[Life on Hit]] triggersbonuses. This worked because every time the Barbarian took damage, the effect could trigger. Since many enemy AoE effects (, such as [[Molten]], [[Fire Chains]], or [[Desecrator]]) , cause numerous proc checks per second, a Barbarian with good LoH can could use this rune effect to heal, actually heal gaining health while absorbing virtually any amount basking in those sorts of damage with .  In v1.0.4 this rune effect activewas actually increased in function, with the damage absorption increased from 30 to 35%, but the proc check was removed entirely, making it no longer super stealth effective when paired with Life on Health item modifiers.
