The Scroll of Wealth is was introduced during early development. It was a new item introduced in Diablo III scroll that lets a player instantly players could use to sell a single item anywhere; from any location, even when not without returning to town. It was removed during development in early-2011, as revealed by Bashiok in a forum post in June 2011.[[caravan|http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/town-portals-return....-sorta/]].
The goal <blue><font color="#FFFFFF">IMO, get rid of the scroll of these scrollswealth, along since with the new [[salvaging]] system, is to allow players to remain in the dungeons, engaged in combat all the timetown portals it’s useless.</font>Bashiok: We haven’t had those for a while, rather than forcing regular trips back to town just although we do have another mechanic to sell or salvage items while out and about.</blue> No further details of that "another mechanic" has yet been revealed. items.
