Short staves

Short Staves appear to be a sub-set of the Staves in Diablo III. Short staves are Caster Weapons; basically longer wands, they are equipped in one hand and used to modify magical attacks, rather than used for melee weapons.
More details should become clear as the game development continues, and itemization proceeds.
