Mephisto is known to be father of two demons: Lucion and Lilith. Mephisto's daughter was the lover of the rebel angel Inarius[, and together created Sanctuary. Both of Mephisto's children had a big responsibility behind the events of the Sin War.
At the end of the Sin War, the Angiris Council dictated judgement against Angel Inarius, Sanctuary and his abominations: the nephalem and the edyrem (children of the mating between rebel angels and demons). Mephisto's shadow appeared before the Angirls Council proposing a truce and a pact.
