Item hunting is the biggest joy in playing Diablo games for many players. The item system in Diablo III is a refined version, not radical change from, of what we saw in Diablo II. What is known at the moment is that item drops are player specific whereby each player will only see the items that are dropped for them, and not items which are dropped for other players.
