Fan Poetry is a form of Fan Fiction and are written works created by Fan Fiction Writers for a particular subject or game that they like. They use their talents to show off their appreciation for the stuff they love.

Background[edit | edit source]

As far back as Diablo I fans have used their writing skills and imagination to write fan fiction stories, continuing to drive the imaginations of fans across the community. After the release of Diablo II, this creativity was rocket-launched even further to the point where the community created the Dark Library website.

Unfortunately, the site crashed, losing the majority of the content, and can't be reinstated due to technical circumstances. That's one of the main reasons the fan fiction section on Diablo Wiki has started to fill it's database with old, archived classic works as well as new ones.

With Diablo III on the horizon; fan fiction is here to stay.
