Sheltered Cottage is an area in The Fields of Misery of Act I. It's in the northern part of the zone, and it is always in a static location, and will always appear, signifying that it may be part of a quest of some sort or, at any rate, it is not a random event or adventure.
The Sheltered Cottage area is clearly labeled as the player approaches and there are a few things of interest. While the Fields of Misery, as a zone, is rather murky and always raining, the sheltered cottage has a break in the clouds above it so a shaft of light shines down upon it, which is unique to the zone. Outside of the house, there are two things of interest, being a body and a bag on the ground that the player can interact with. The building entrance leads the player into the Tinker's Hovel, which is pictured below.
