BlizzCon is an annual convention hosted by Blizzard and held in the Anaheim convention center. The first BlizzCon was held in 2005. Others followed in 2007, 2008, and 2009. The convention has grown larger and more popular each year.

- 2009 greatly improved upon this with over 25,000 tickets selling out in just minutes, even when offered in two blocks, weeks apart.
