LotL = Live off the Land.

This is a purist play style in which a player only uses items his character finds themselves. No trading or twinking or muling is allowed. There is often some overlap between LotL and Ironman style, but they are not necessarily the same thing, though individual players may blur or blend the rules in various ways.
