The Monk is a martial arts specialist, "One-Handed Tiger Strike Fury" in a whole new shape and form compared to Diablo I's expansion Hellfire. His main weapon is a staff, which he can swing to very deadly effect.
The Monk was announced by Blizzard at BlizzCon 2009 21 August 11:58 in front of 26.000 cheering fans.
