The Sundering Pass is a desert area believed to be located within the Aranoch desert, but could very well be somewhere in Kehjistan or the Dry Steppes.

Besides dangerous animals and demonic monsters, the land is populated with tiny desert creatures, snakes and insects, that are less dangerous.

It's reasonably closely located to Alcarnus, where some demonic unrest has been heard of.

Near the Sundered Pass, a villain called Husan has been terrorising the area, and has a bounty on his head.

Game Level

The Sundering Pass was the first level of the GamesCom 2009 demo, and was described as far better looking version of the Diablo II Aranoch desert levels. The terrain featured visible winds carrying clouds of sand across the plains with dust storms kicking up. The aforementioned desert creatures are critters, which dies if run over.
