Normal in Diablo games can mean one of the following:

Item Quality: Normal

Item quality varies greatly. 'Normal' items are non-magical equipment that a character usually only use in the beginning of the game, during low levels.

Game Difficulty: Normal

The Normal difficulty is the lowest difficulty setting in the Diablo games. The three difficulties are:

• Normal difficulty
• Nightmare difficulty
• Hell difficulty
