The Haunted Achievement asks that you hunt down seven ghosts. There is a ten point reward but no banner unfortunately, considering what a difficult slog it can be to find these guys.
Contents
Lucious the Depraved
Name: Lucious the Depraved (db)
About: 'Thief of Corpses' is a Superunique Brigand.
Location: Cemetery of the Forsaken, Act I.
Farming Method:
- From the Quest Selection screen take quest 4. Reign of the Black King > The Royal Crypts.
- Take the Waypoint from Tristram to the Cemetery of the Forsaken
- The small cemetery is quick to scout and a Checkpoint is reached if you approach the southern gate into The Weeping Hollow enabling you to farm the cemetery again by leaving the game, Resuming and re-appearing at the Checkpoint spot. Rinse and repeat.
Special Notes:
- He has a mainly melee attack but he is also Vampiric so will leech life from you. Keep out of the green goop.
- Be sure to check up the stairs right up to the entranceways to the 3 Defiled Crypts.
- He is involved in another achievement too, Never Seen that Before.
Dataminer
Name: Dataminer (db)
About: 'Unearths Spoils' is a Superunique
Location: Defiled Crypt under the Cemetery of the Forsaken, Act I. The crypt you need is the single level crypts only. There are two of those, the third crypt has two levels but Dataminer does not appear in that one. Drury Brown and John Gorham Coffin do however.
Farming Method:
- From the Quest Selection screen take quest 4. Reign of the Black King > The Royal Crypts.
- Take the Waypoint from Tristram to the Cemetery of the Forsaken.
- Locate the single level Defiled Crypts and hunt for the Dataminer.
- If unsuccessful, leave the game and hit 'Resume' to start just inside the gates of the cemetery again.
Special Notes:
- If you come across the events Jar of Souls or The Matriarch's Bones you are in a single level crypt.
- If you find the 2 level crypt just take a Town Portal back to Tristram and take the Waypoint back to the Cemetery of the Forsaken. Back in the cemetery you know the other two dungeons are both single level meaning either could have the Dataminer in. You need patience however.
- If you are doing this multiple times you may run into Lucious the Depraved (also needed for this achievement) in the cemetery so don't bother hunting for him first. You may be lucky and be able to kill two birds with one stone.
- Smash the jars of Ashes as there is another Achievement called Jars of Destruction which calls for you to smash 1,000.
Drury Brown
Name: Drury Brown (db)
About: 'Thief of Bones' is a Superunique Brigand.
Location: Level 1 of the Defiled Crypts below the Cemetery of the Forsaken, Act I. He will only appear in the crypt that has 2 floors.
Farming Method:
- From the Quest Selection take quest 3. Shattered Crown > Northwest Gate.
- Take that gate from Tristram, run up through The Weeping Hollow and into the Cemetery of the Forsaken.
- Locate the crypt with 2 levels.
- Make your way down to the Chancellor's Tomb where you'll get a Checkpoint just as you enter it. This will enable you to farm the crypts by leaving the game, Resuming and re-appearing at this spot.

Farming Method:
- From the Quest Selection screen take quest 3. Shattered Crown > Northwest Gate.

An easy one to farm but you just need a quest that has the Waypoint available.
- From the Quest Selection screen take quest No. 7. The Doom in Wortham.
- Use the Waypoint directly to The Festering Woods.
- Leave and Resume Game if he does not show.
Special Notes:
- There are two other achievements attached to events that you can go for whilst farming this area Eternal War and Last Stand of the Ancients.
The Archivist
Name: The Archivist (db)
About: 'Dark Lorekeeper' is a Superunique
Location: The Unknown Depths, Act III.
Farming Method:
- From the Quest Selection screen take quest 8. The Black Soulstone > Adria in the Camp. You will spawn in The Terminus
- Cross the bridge to The Unknown Depths.
- If he's not there leave the game and resume and begin again.
Special Notes:
- He is involved in another achievement too, Never Seen that Before.
- If you have not found The Tomekeeper yet (also needed for this achivement), do not leave but instead go back up to The Terminus and take the bridge to Realm of Shadow as he can spawn there.

- If he's not there leave the game and resume and begin again.
