Unburied are large, spike-covered undead creatures. They were seen in the dungeons below the Tristram Cathedral in the BlizzCon 2008 demo, and have shown up in the gameplay movies as well.

Unburied are somewhat reminiscent of Thorned Hulks from Diablo II. Both move slowly but hit quickly with huge shoulders and club-like arms. The Unburied are fleshy and undead (hence the name) though, rather than tree like, and they do not possess the Frenzy ability of Thorned Hulks.
Unburied were encountered in the dungeons below the Tristram Cathedral in the Blizzcon demo, but despite their size they were not especially dangerous. They just hit a bit harder and took a lot more damage than the various smaller types of zombies
