BlizzCon 2011 was announced[1] on February 7, 2011. The show will take place in the Anaheim Convention Center on 21-22 October 2011. Nothing is yet known about Diablo III's presence at the show, but it seems likely that there will be a playable demo of an area from the Diablo 3 Beta, plus numerous panels about the game, with its release date coming up just a couple of months after Blizzcon 2011.

Panels

No information has yet been revealed about the planned Diablo III panels.

Tickets Sold Out

As has been the case during the past few years, Blizzcon 2011 tickets sold out instantly; fans who clicked the ticket sales page just seconds after it went live were in the queue thousands of places from the top, and didn't get a chance to buy tickets.

The show dates were announced in February 2011, with the ticket sales dates (May 21st and May 25th) revealed[2] in April 2011.
