The Caldeum Dune Guard was a military branch located in Lut Bahadur dedicated to keeping the dunes of the Borderlands safe from the lacuni, and later also guarding the extensive mining taking place in the Borderlands.
The Dune Guard was withdrawn after several hundred years of service on the dunes by young emperor Hakan II in recent years, which has resulted in chaos in the Borderlands.
