Blizzard's BlizzCon event of 2009 will take place on 21st and 22nd of August at the Anaheim Convention Center in Los Angeles. See the main BlizzCon article for more information about the event in general.
Diablo III Playable
Diablo 3 will be playable for fans and it's assumed all three of the classes already announced (wizard, barbarian and witch doctor) will be playable as they were at BlizzCon 2008 and also a fourth class which is expected, by fans, to be announced.
Changes to skills already documented and to the interface are expected and possibly one or two new tile sets.
Panels
The following Diablo 3 panels are scheduled to take place over the two days but specific times aren't yet known.
Heroes & Monsters
Exploring the design process by which Blizzard bring classes and monsters to life and also how they go about creating fun and challenging battles.
Lore
An integral part of the Diablo 3 experience is the story that it builds upon and this panel will revist the story so far and explore some of what's to come.
Art
Behind-the-scenes look at character design, concept art and world design from the artists perspective.
Other Coverage
As with BlizzCon 2008 there will be a huge volume of media coverage. A full list of all good coverage will be found on the Media Coverage page.
Blizzard will be streaming the event via the web for a subscription fee. It will stream one hour behind the actual event.
