Slayer is just an idea for a class that would function much like van helsing. Using crossbows and short range weapons. This is just a basic overview until I have more time to truly edit the class. Vageuly reminiscent of the Witch Hunter class from Warhammer as far as look is concerned.
Skill Trees
- Crossbow
- Thrown
- Hunting
The Crossbow tree would give abilities much like the amazon's bow tree, except for elemental attacks. It would just augment the crossbow with holy powers or abilities, and would allow for abilities such as; Repeating, Piercing Shot, Rain of Arrows, strafing, etc.
Thrown would basically encompass using Daggers, hand axes, stakes, holy water, etc. It would allow for short range attacks that would cripple or stun opponents. It would also involve an ability called "grappling hook" That could be used as a weapon or to get from one side of the map to the other.
For hunting, this would be my favourite. It would allow for special abilities that would inflict damage, dispell mage attacks, turn invisible, and debuff enemies.
