Onslaught provides a crit and dodge chance increase, and when combined with Berserker state, the Barbarian will become better at everything. This skill really brings out the whole theme of the Berserker Skill Tree, to make the Barbarian stronger with buffs. Barbarian's who will spend skill points into this skill will be limited to the duration and to the chance of Berserker State activating (procing). It is assumed that at max rank, this skill coupled with Berserker State and other skills in the tree, will be worth the points spent into them.

Skill Design[edit | edit source]

This skill is only usable if you have the Berserker State buff on you. It is unknown why the Berserker State buff is required in the first place, probably to limit its use. The dodge chance increase is well worth the points to make Berserker Barbarians better at tanking.

Onslaught provides a crit and dodge chance increase, and when combined with the mandatory Berserker State, the Barbarian will become better at everything. Barbarian's who spend skill points into this skill will be limited to the duration and to the chance of Berserker State procing. It is assumed that at max rank, this skill coupled with Berserker State and other skills in the tree, will be well worth the points spent into them.

Development[edit | edit source]

Onslaught was first seen in the BlizzCon 2008 demo but was reiterated drastically, judging from the latest demo. The old Onslaught drained Fury whilst giving the Barbarian an attack speed bonus, it lasted until the duration ended or until Fury was used up. In the BlizzCon 2009 version, we see it as an active skill, but a skill that depends on the passive skill Berserker State.
