Duriel, also known as the Maggot Lord or the Lord of Pain, is a large maggot-like demon with mantis-like claws, and is one of the Lesser Evils. He took part in the Great Exile of the Prime Evils, but later was asking for their redemption. When Archangel Tyrael is captured in the Tomb of Tal'Rasha, it is Duriel who is sent there to prevent the Archangel from being released. Eventually, the Lord of Pain is killed by the adventurer.
