Act I[edit | edit source]

Life with Cain[edit | edit source]

Conversation[edit | edit source]

Leah: "I've been spending most of my life traveling from place to place with Uncle Deckard while he did his crazy research."

Player: "What is he looking for?"

Leah: "He's convinced that the forces of Hell will invade our world and bring about the end times. All these years, he's still searching for a way to stop this... apocalypse."

The player portion of the conversation can differ depending on the class and gender.

When[edit | edit source]

After rescuing Deckard Cain until departing for Wortham.

Tristram[edit | edit source]

Conversation[edit | edit source]

Leah: "For a long time, Uncle Deckard avoided coming back to this place. There were a lot of ghosts here for him."

Leah: "This is where Diablo drove old King Leoric mad and terrorized the people."

Leah: "I don't know what really happened here, but whatever it was, it was horrible. Nearly everyone who survived went mad."

The player portion of the conversation can differ depending on the class and gender.

When[edit | edit source]

After talking to Captain Rumford after meeting Leah until before rescuing Deckard Cain.

Adria[edit | edit source]

Conversation[edit | edit source]

Player: "What did you discover about your mother?"

Leah: "She wasn't from Tristram originally. She came here during the troubles."

Leah: "She was in search of something, but I am not sure what. She reminds me of Uncle Deckard, obsessed with the war between angels and demons."

The player portion of the conversation can differ depending on the class and gender.

When[edit | edit source]

After rescuing Deckard Cain until departing for Wortham.

Leah's Childhood[edit | edit source]

Conversation[edit | edit source]

Leah: "Uncle Deckard and I tranveled all over the world in my youth, looking for lost lore and artifacts. It was so exciting—crawling around ancient temples, digging through forgotten crypts..."

Leah: "I feel fortunate that Uncle Deckard raised me the way he did. The things I learned from him... But now I don't know. I see what his obsession with his quest has cost him... has cost us..."

The player portion of the conversation can differ depending on the class and gender.

When[edit | edit source]

Available right after you first talk to her until she leaves Wortham to check on Cain.

Adria's Death[edit | edit source]

Conversation[edit | edit source]

Player: "How did your mother die?"

Leah: "Well, details are hazy, but I know that Adria was obsessed with chasing the arcane. She knew she could never raise a child."

Leah: "Uncle Deckard believes that the madness and horror of her life finally caught up with her."

The player portion of the conversation can differ depending on the class and gender.

When[edit | edit source]

After Leah joins your party to investigate Adria's hut until departing for Wortham.
