He was captured by [[Baal]] after he failed to stop [[Diablo]] releasing Baal but was eventually freed by the adventurers of [[Diablo II]]. He returned to the adventurers in the [[Pandemonium Fortress]], the last bastion before [[Hell]], to offer some assistance.
