==Skill Rune Effects==The following is a very quick listsummary. See the Mantra of Conviction rune effects page for a more thorough summary description of rune effects, or any of the individual rune pages for numbers, screenshots, blue quotes, and much more.

Skill Design
This skill first appeared at 2010. There are currently no visuals available for the skill, and no reports on it from demo players. It was revealed in the skill tree. This is the second aura available to the monk. This aura mantra is interesting in that it does not increase the damage the player or his party inflicts like Diablo II's Might Might}}, but it increases the damage that enemies take. Since it is a flat rate, this aura mantra is likely to be highly useful in Nightmare and Hell difficulties where the monsters may have high resistances to different types of damage. This is one of the auras available to the Monk. Auras in Diablo II are passive skills that simply require being the chosen skill on the hotbar. Auras in Diablo III are active skills that need to be cast, and they offer a short-duration bonus upon casting that varies depending on the aura. It is unknown how long the duration of the aura is, if it needs to be re-cast to keep the effect, and if there are any cooldowns.
Synergies
Before the July 2011 Press Event, Dominate Aura was renamed Mantra of Conviction. Skill tiers were also removed, and Mantra of Conviction became a level 22 skill.
Beta
When the beta started in September 2011, Mantra of Conviction remained at level 22. The skill system was once again overhauled for the Beta Patch 13 in February 2012, and Mantra of Conviction was classified as a Conviction skill and moved to level 26. For Beta Patch 14, the "Conviction" category was renamed "Mantras" and Mantra of Conviction was bumped up to level 30.
