===Arena Maps===
Nothing is yet known about the variety, size, tile sets, or other issues about arena maps. There was Though only the one arena map/layout available at Blizzcon 2010has been seen as of July 2011, and the team has made very little comment on more varieties and types developers have stated that they will include a wide variety of maps. <ref>[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/diablo-on-arena-maps/ @Diablo tweet] - IncGamers, December 2010</ref>
Fans expect that there will be a wide variety of tile sets, representing <blue>We’ll have as many of the environments seen throughout the game. Different arena layouts and sizes are expected maps as well, though it seems likely that the developers will limit the sizes and make sure that every map has a decent amount of (but not too many) obstacles so that the arenas are fair for all the different classeswe can. --Diablo</blue>
For instanceIn April 2011 The Korean Diablo twitter feed confirmed that there would be outdoor Arena maps, an arena with too many posts would work against ranged attackerstrees, rocks, while one that was wide openponds, with lots etc.<ref>[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/official-d3-korean-twitter-reveals-new-arena-info-the-limits-of holes or other ground obstacles would be a killing field for ranged attackers-google-tran/ Korean Diablo 3 Tweet] - Diablo.IncGamers.com, April 2011</ref>
The only official quote thus far on Arena maps came from @Diablo in December 2010, and it was entirely non-committal. <ref>[http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/diablo-on-arena-maps/ @Diablo tweet] - IncGamers, December 2010</ref>
<blue>We’ll have as Fans hope for a wide variety of tile sets, representing many of the environments seen throughout the game. For instance, an arena with too many trees, posts, walls, and other barriers would work against ranged attackers, while one that was wide open, with lots of holes or other ground obstacles would be a killing field for ranged attackers. Arenas with too many pits or water hazards would discriminate against characters who didn't have a [[teleport]] or [[leap]] skill, etc.
