WiP = Work in Progress
This term is commonly used for pieces of art or other creative works; an artist might show off her first draft of a painting, or a story, or a piece of digital art, looking for comments and feedback to inform further changes in the piece.
Needless to say, Diablo III is a WiP, and will remain so for some time.
