- Shadow Blades
Pretty much like the Energy Blades from the Holy Power skill tree, but they shine in purple. The mage activates two blades of magical purple energy - one for each hand. Looks pretty much like the Star Craft Zealot. To avoid plagiarism the blades should look like fans. Press the skill button to activate the blades and press it again to deactivate them. Deactivation doesn't cost mana. If you are wearing a shield, the blade is only on the right hand. These blades are used for melee combat - the mage slices enemies.
When striking enemies the blades deal some magical damage but they also steal some life and mana - more mana than life. The attack speed is very fast. Costs mana for activating.
Adding points to the skill will increase tha magical damage and the percent of life and mana stolen per hit. The mana cost increases.
- Dark Sword
The mage summons a big sword of purple energy in her hands. Press the skill button to activate the blade and press it again to deactivate it. Deactivation doesn't cost mana. The sword is two handed, but if you have a shield, you will be able to hold it with one hand, but the damage will be lower. The attack speed is normal. The damage is magical and physical. The sword also steals life and mana per hit - more than Shadow Blades. There is a chance to blind enemies. Costs Mana.
Adding points to the skill will increase the magical and physical damage, the life and mana stolen per hit and the chance to blind enemies. The mana cost will increase.
- Stun Blast
The mage raises her hand and on the cursor position a white sphere appears and grows in less than half a second to up to 3 meters diameter. Its center is like a white star. The sphere affects nearby enemies in its range by scattering them, knocking them down and stunning them for a while. Enemies that are higher level will not be affected, so add points to the skill. After the sphere has grown its center starts to shine and there are white rays that move from its edges to center. Then the sphere with the rays shrinks to center and disappears. A similar spell was shown in one episode of The Legend Of The Seeker serial - the one with the magical maps. If you accuse me for plagiarism I will accept your critique, but I did everything possible to make the spell look different.
The spell costs mana.
Adding points to the skill will increase the stun duration, the chance to affect higher level enemies and the diameter of the sphere will also increase /up to 3,5 meters/. The mana cost will increase.
- Shadow Nova
This Nova looks pretty much like the classical Sorceress skill, but it comes from the waist of the mage and its color is violet. The Shadow Nova affects the enemies by dealing some magical damage, but its main thing is that it steals mana. The more enemies in the range, the more mana stolen. Costs mana.
Adding points to the skill will increase the magical damage and the mana stolen per enemy. Its range also increases. The mana cost will increase.
- Doom Hammer
The mage raises her hand and a purple star shines high above her head. The star falls in a parabola to the selected enemy and strikes. When the star strike the enemy it emits a purple Nova that hurts the enemies nearby. The damage is magical and physical.
Adding points to the skill will increase the star and the Nova's damage. The mana cost will increase.
- Ruby Rays
The mage raises her hand above her head and a ruby red light shines on top of it. Then the light emits ruby red rays that strike the nearby enemies. The more enemies, the more rays. Each ray shines for a second and disappears. Then if the enemy is still alive, another ray appears. The rays appear in a fast sequence, not simultaneously. The more you hold the button, the longer the ray attack. The damage is magical. The range of the spell is limited. Costs mana per second.
Adding points to the skill will increase the magical damage of the rays and will decrease the mana cost per second. The range of the spell also increases.
- Twilight Mastery - passive
A passive skill that increases the damage of all Shadow Spells, but decreases the damage of the Holy Power spells. That's the prise for being a shadow Aurian Mage - your holy power fades.
- Leech Mastery - passive
A passive skill that increases the percents of Life ands Mana stolen for all Life and Mana stealing spells.
- Magic Fog
The mage raises her hand and a thick blue fog appears around her body, grows quickly and covers almost the whole area on the screen. When the mage moves, the fog follows her slowly. Enemies in the fog have difficulties to see the mage and their resistances are slightly lowered. For the mage enemies in the fog can be easily seen, because there is a white glow around them. Enemies that are higher level will be able to see the mage, so add points to the skill. The for exists for one minute and then it fades away. After the fog has disappeared there is a 2 minutes casting delay. Costs mana.
Adding points to the skill will increase the chance for not being seen from higher level enemies and the percent of lowered resistances will also increase. The mana cost will increase.
- Magic Wall
The mage raises her hand and draws a thin transparent magic wall that shines in cyan blue. Actually the wall is presented by a bright cyan blue line on the ground and there are rays of cyan blue light coming from it, that form the wall. Hold the skill button and draw the wall with the mouse. The longer the wall, the more mana cost.
You can draw a circle around a group of enemies or trap them in a corner by drawing a diagonal wall. Enemies cannot pass the wall and their missiles cannot pass it too. But your spells can pass the wall and hurt the trapped enemies.
Enemies that are higher level will be able to destroy the wall, so add points to the skill. Bosses will destroy the wall with two blows.
The wall exists for up to 20 seconds and then it fades away. There is a casting delay of 20 seconds.
Adding points to the skill will make the wall tougher so higher level enemies don't destroy it. The mana cost will decrease so you can draw longer walls.
