A Miner's Gold is quest first revealed in the GamesCom 2009 demo.
Background
The quest is given by the "Crazy Miner", who asks that you defend him while he raises a chest of gold via a pulley system. If you are successful, you get half the gold.
The Defense is easy for characters with AoE spells, since you are being attacked by Fallen.
