'''Veiled Crystal''' (VC) is a Rare-quality material used in all level 61+ [[Blacksmith Plans]] and item [[enchant]]ing in Reaper of Souls. This material is not found in Diablo 3, where the [[Iridescent Tear]] serves as the lower-tier version of the Veiled Crystal.

Veiled Crystals are obtained chiefly by [[salvaging]] Rare items of level 61-70. Such items yield 1 Veiled Crystal each, and with some item crafting requiring up to 90 VCs at a time, players busy with crafting need to salvage a '''''lot''''' of Rare items to keep up with their VC costs.

This material can also be found from monster drops, and it's occasionally seen from [[Horadric Cache]]s, [[Resplendent chests]], and [[Treasure Goblins]].

Veiled Crystals did not exist in Diablo 3. They were introduced in Reaper of Souls and are not present in [[D3v2]] either, since they are a higher level item than can be found in that game.
