'''Tal Rasha's Sacrifice''' is an [[item set]] themed for the Wizard but usable by any character, aside from the Wizard-only [[source]]. Most of the items in this set include inherent bonuses to [[Intelligence]], and there are some bonuses to +%damage to specific elements, but the lack of specific bonuses for Wizards in Diablo 3 (such as casting speed or +spell damage) that were found in previous Diablo games hinders this set in delivering special bonuses that are especially useful to that class.

As a result of that, and the lackluster partial set bonuses, this full item set is much less popular with Wizards than are the various other items sets themed for individual classes, and little used by non-Wizards, other than perhaps the helm and/or chest, which can roll with useful general purpose affixes.

The partial set bonuses from Tal's are considered by most players to be easily the worst in the game, but as of v1.07 they have yet to be adjusted or improved by the developers. The bonuses aren't very large, and they are specific to certain spells, thus excluding most Wizards from most of the bonuses, and doing nothing for most other class' skills, cutting down on the cross-class appeal of this set.

==Lore==
[[Tal Rasha]] was the leader of the [[Horadrim]] during [[The Binding of the Three]], along with [[Deckard Cain]]'s ancestor, [[Jered Cain]]. Tal Rasha sacrificed himself under [[Tyrael]]'s guidance to trap the soul of [[Baal]] within himself, but was eventually overcome by Baal's evil in events seen in Diablo 2 and its expansion.
