[[Illusory Boots]] is a [[legendary boots]] that can be found in Diablo 3 and Reaper of Souls. This item can only be found and equipped by any class, though the special bonus tends to be most useful to characters who do not have a top quality [[escape skill]].

The [[Smart Drop]] system ensures that these boots will usually roll with the [[mainstat]] appropriate to the class that finds it. Boots can roll with +skill bonuses as well, and these will also usually get Smart Loot'ed to appropriate skills for your class.

This item drops only from Act Two [[Horadric Caches]], and can not be found directly from monsters or crafted.

==Illusory Boots properties==

This item has a useful [[legendary affix]], allowing the wearer to pass through enemies unhindered. This works just as though the character was using a skill to pass through, such as Whirlwind or Strafe, and essentially turns the monsters intangible. The character is not protected while using these boots, and can take damage from elemental effects or enemy attacks.

The boots do not pass through everything; non-monster objects, such as destructibles, ledges, [[Waller]] walls, etc, will still block the character's progress.
