[[Griswold's Perfection]] is a crafted [[legendary sword]] that can only be created in Reaper of Souls. This item requires a [[Griswold's Scribblings]], one of the [[legendary materials]] for each sword crafted.

To create this item, find the [[Plan: Griswold's Perfection]], which can be randomly dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach the plan to the [[Blacksmith]]. Once learned by the smith, any character on your account can make as many of these as you can afford to create. It can be used by any character class.

==Griswold's Perfection stats==

This legendary sword has no [[legendary affix]] and no inherent properties other than the Fire Damage. Like all legendary weapons this one can roll with larger stats than any rare weapon, but with no special properties players should look to find a better item for long term use in the [[end game]].

==Crafting==

Once a player finds the randomly-dropped plan and teaches it to the Blacksmith, the item can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The [[Smart Loot]] system means that this item will usually roll with a [[mainstat]] and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

==Legendary Material==

The required legendary material, [[Griswold's Scribblings]] can be found all throughout the game, from level 8 (or so) on up to 70. (Only the [[Adventurer's Journal]] is also available below level 70 and in Diablo 3, though neither have any use outside of their RoS crafting recipes.) Unlike the Adventurer's Journal, which is easily the most common [[legendary material]], Griswold's Scribblings is actually quite rare and oddly-difficult to farm.

It has countless drop sources, including bookshelves, lore bags, Cain's backpacks, satchels, podiums, Angiris Archives, etc, but a very low drop chance from any of them. Players trying to farm it are advised to click every bookshelf, backpack, or any other possible source of lore books.
