Duriel, also known as the Maggot Lord or the Lord of Pain, is a large maggot-like demon with mantis-like claws, and is one of the [[Lesser Evils]]. He took part in the [[Great Exile]] of the [[Prime Evils]], but later was asking for their redemption. When Archangel [[Tyrael]] is captured in the [[Tomb of Tal'Rasha]], it is Duriel who is sent there to prevent the Archangel from being released. Eventually, the Lord of Pain is killed by the adventurer.
