He finds the helmet of the armor, and the helmet gives him power to cast spells etc. But the armor has a mind of its own, making him do the bidding of the soul of [[Bartuc]]. He is revealed as the descendent of [[Bartuc]] himself, and [[Norrec]] is a distant relative. He is killed when fighting with [[Norrec]] over posession of the armor.
