[[Arcane Barb]] is a crafted [[legendary crossbow]] that can only be created in Reaper of Souls. This item requires an [[Eternal Power Capsule]], one of the [[legendary materials]] for each crossbow crafted.

To create this item, find the [[Plan: Arcane Barb]], which can be randomly dropped randomly by any level 70 target, and teach the plan to the [[Blacksmith]]. Once learned by the smith, any character on your account can make as many of these as you can afford to create, though only the Witch Doctor can equip it.

==Spite stats==

This Crossbow has no inherent stats other than Arcane Damage, and no legendary affix. It could potentially be better than a Rare crossbow, but has no advantages over any found legendary crossbow, and most [[Demon Hunters]] prefer [[Legendary Bows]] or [[Legendary Hand Crossbows]] for their much faster firing rate. Witch Doctors may also use this item, though few use crossbows.

==Crafting==

Once a player finds the randomly-dropped plan and teaches it to the Blacksmith, the item can be created by any character on that account. This item always has a lvl 70 requirement, no matter what level character crafts it. The [[Smart Loot]] system means that this item will usually roll with a [[mainstat]] and/or +skill damage bonus appropriate to the class of the character that creates it.

The required legendary material, the [[Eternal Power Capsule]] is found only from Unique (purple) [[Cuddle Bear]]s, which are found only in the secret non-cow level of [[Whimsyshire]]. No events, quests, or bounties will ever pinpoint the sources, and thus this is one of the hardest legendary materials to farm.

Players seeking Eternal Power Capsules might as well try to find the [[Mystical Source]], used for [[Sage's Journey]], while they are in Whimsyshire, as it drops only from Unique Ponies.
